Hi Steve!! What kind of training do you do in the summer? Is it as hard as regular season training?

    • Steve Blake says:

Good question! I actually work out harder in the offseason. I work out at least twice a day doing weight training and conditioning for one of my workouts and on court basketball skills for my other workout. I also play in as many pick up games as I can.

hello mr blake how was it playing for frank martin lol

    • Steve Blake says:

It was great playing for Frank, I loved his intensity, his knowlege for the game, and he knows how to get the best out of his players. Best of all he really cares about his players.

Hey Steve, Im a huge fan and have been following your career since Maryland. I loved watching you with Brandon Roy. Just curious, did you try to talk him into coming to the Lakers? I think that could have pushed you guys over the edge for a championship run. I still think you can make that run but a guy like Roy could have been huge. Keep up the great work man. My twitter is @YoMariaVisThatU

    • Steve Blake says:

No I didn’t reach out to Brandon but he is a great player and a great guy and I enjoyed playing with him. I wish him all the best in his return!

  11. Dave says:

I used to play basketball in high school. I’m trying to get back into shape, and lose weight, what kind of basketball drills do you think I should for maximum result? I was thinking of running lines, ect. twitter handle: @davidawalton

    • Steve Blake says:

      Hi Dave,
I think running lines are good but the best way to get in basketball shape is to play basketball. Find as many pick up games as you can and play hard. Good luck!
